Waiting Room

As I waited for the delivery man to come knocking at my door, I took some shots of some vintage items. Some of my favs some I haven't had a chance to rock out yet.

Oh and I have found a new love for ugly sweaters...there is just something about obnoxious patterns that just makes me happy! This red one was started it all...and that's me. ~M^2

They're coming, they're coming...

They're coming with the couch today! We order the beautiful couch from Restoration Hardware like 2 months ago that was on back order. So today is the day its coming! Yeah for redecorating the apartment! So I have the time slot 11am to 3pm…the longest 4 hours of my life. We have a drastic color change from the red furniture to the neutral brown. But the detail of the couch will not let us down! Its amazing, a distressed vintage like leather in the classic English style…I’m in love….I cant wait!! We are thinking about going with a neutrals scheme with blues. Here are some of the pillows we were interested along our pillow hunt. We loved the crate and barrel pillow but thought in the end it was too masculine with such a masculine couch. We love the idea of a sweater throw and pillow, we've talked about maybe trying to create our own pillows, so maybe soon I'll fill you in on how that project is going. We still haven’t bought any pillows yet so let me know your thoughts on color palettes!

I have returned to the States with blogging on my mind. After 18 days between Greece, Italy, Sicily and Spain my passions have grown into a love of photography, to be able to capture beauty is amazing. I hope you enjoy what I did while on my trip.
